Robert Paddock High
Robert Paddock High, age 84 of Baraboo, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Our House Assisted Living.
Bob was born on Aug. 13, 1925 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Charles and Helen (Paddock) High. On April 18, 1953 he was united in marriage to Edith Westcott at First Presbyterian Church in Baraboo. He attended Pacific University in Oregon, pursuing a career in accounting. During his life in Oregon, Bob spent his summers building a successful salt water taffy shop and having fun along the coast.
We honor him as a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country in the Pacific during WWII. Bob became a victim of polio, but because of his positive spirit was able to survive with a strength and
