Joan K. Fluette
Joan K. Fluette, age 62 of Baraboo, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009 at St. Clare Hospital. Joan, the daughter of the late Alfred and Alma (Zastrow) Wiatrok, was born on Nov. 14, 1946 in Baraboo. She was united in marriage to Donald Fluette on May 30, 1999 at the Assembly of God Church in Baraboo. Joan had cared for the elderly at St. Clare Meadows Care Center for more than 20 years. She enjoyed sewing, playing the organ, baking pies, gardening and flowers, but she loved her chickens — her "babies" — and most especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Donald Fluette of Baraboo; three children, Melody (Tim Magnus) Morley, Holly (Joseph) Vittengl, and Peggy (Nick) Delmore, all of Baraboo; six grandchildren, Brooke, Jordan, Kayla, Hannah, Maria, and Luke; her sister, Shirley (Michael) Rowe of Baraboo; two step-children, Tony and Tracy Fluette; two step-grandchildren, Emma and Carter; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her grandson, Mark Morley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009 at the Baraboo Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jon Arneson officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church; and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services, at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
