She was born on May 16, 1977 in Baraboo, the daughter of Keith and Judy (Schultz) Zick. She was a graduate of Sauk Prairie High School the class of 1995. She attended MATC and graduated in 1997 as a Veterinarian Technician. Sarah enjoyed flowers, animals and pets. She worked very hard at having a normal life, which was a struggle for her.

She is survived by her parents, Keith (Lynn) Zick of North Freedom, Judy (Anthony) Klemm of North Freedom; her daughter, Samantha Zick of North Freedom; maternal grandmother, Betty Schultz of Baraboo; brother, Tim Zick of Menomonie; step brothers and sisters; step nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg with Pastor Michael Lopp officiating. Burial will follow in the Denzer Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home.
