Coleen E. Bell

Coleen Elizabeth Bell, age 70 of Baraboo, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at her home.

Coleen, the daughter of the late William and Alice (Fricke) Frandsen, was born on Aug. 29, 1939 in Rockford, Ill. She was united in marriage to Robert Bell Sr. on May 19, 2001 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rock Springs, where she remained active in the Ladies Aid and the choir. Coleen taught biology and social studies at the high school level for many years. She enjoyed helping with tours at a state park, collecting bells, and dearly loved her cats. Coleen loved to laugh and could lighten the mood in any situation.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Bell Sr. and his extended family; her children, Dianne Potter and Robert (Tiffany) Potter; two grandchildren; her sister, Ginny (Marshall) Blomberg; special friend, Barb Pemberton; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Coleen will be held at noon on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rock Springs with Pastor Paul Schroeder officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. The Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo is assisting the family.
