Armand F. Harms
LOGANVILLE — Armand Frederick Harms, age 82, of Loganville, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at St. Clare Meadows Care Center in Baraboo. He was born on Sept. 13, 1927, in Loganville, the son of Henry A. and Amanda (Peters) Harms. On Aug. 18, 1949, Armand was united in marriage to Donna Hemshrot at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Loganville. This marriage was blessed with six children. Armand was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a vocal couch coach for the Green Bay Packers. He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Royce (Debra) Harms of Oxford, N.C., Nola (Michael) Bradford of Las Vegas, Nev., Cyndi (Tom) Voeck of Sun Prairie, Rhonda (Roger) Kruse of Loganville, Dawn (Lars) Svanoe of Madison; 10 grandchildren, Alicia, Shawn, Ben, Kevin, Doug, Carmen, Brad, Zoe, Liam and Duncan; eight great-grandchildren, Estelle, Tennyson, Oliver, Owen, Wyatt, Riley, Violet and Mitch; sister, Ruth Tietje of Loganville; brother, Raymond (Ione) Harms of Reedsburg; sisters-in-law, Ellen Harms of Mayville and Irene Harms of Reedsburg; nieces, nephews along with several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stewart; brothers, Edward, Reinhard and Henry; sister, Caroline Robson. Funeral services for Armand F. Harms will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Reedsburg with Pastor Paul Crolius officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
