The Columbus Cardinals Unlimited Archery teams are set to begin preseason practices soon.

All current 4th-12th grade students in Columbus are welcome to attend the Parent/Archer Meeting at Columbus High School on Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. in the freshman gym. Practices will begin on Oct. 22. It is $60 to be a part of a team and equipment is provided for archers. Registration will be due on Oct. 22.

Archery has grown in the Columbus community in the past six years to include more than 130 archers. Cardinals Unlimited competes in the NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) which includes six tournaments in the state, the State Tournament, the National Tournament, and the World Tournament. Archers from Columbus have earned team and individual accolades at each of these levels with the club’s first Team USA competitor at the World Tournament in Orlando, Florida last July. We have 10-plus certified BAI (Basic Archery Instructors) on staff and welcome any youth who are interested in learning the lifelong skill of archery.

If you would like to support the archery teams in any way, please contact head coach Jenn Parchem at, or 920-623-5950 Ext. 2165.
