Marian Ziel, 68, of Oregon and formerly of Necedah, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, 10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Chapel in Necedah. Father David Sansone will officiate. Burial will follow in the Queen of the Holy Rosary Mediatrix of Peace Cemetery, Necedah. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Torkelson Necedah Family Funeral Home. Family and friends are also invited for visitation Monday from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Marian to a local animal shelter.
