Harvey LeRoy Schriver

Harvey LeRoy Schriver, 56, of Mauston died unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, at his home.  Harvey was born in Mauston on Dec. 7, 1951, to Harley L. and Mildred Eris (Howland) Schriver.  

He spent all of his life in Mauston. Harvey loved working on cars, helping others, riding his Harley motorcycle and giving rides on his tractor. He also took great pride in the gladiolas he grew each year and shared them with many. Harv was well known for his warmth, generosity, compassion for others and his unique sense of humor.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jeremy M. Schriver of Evansville; stepdaughter, Belinda A. Rose of Lake Delton; stepson, Timmy Roggenbauer of Mauston; mother, Mildred Eris Schriver; sisters, Carol Kauscher, Sandy (Leslie) Saunders, all of Mauston; brothers, Harley Dale Schriver of Madison and William (Billy) and Mary Jo Schriver of Belvedere; five nieces; and longtime friends, the Greene family. He will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends.

Harv was preceded in death by his father, Harley L. Schriver; beloved dog, Gupper of 22 years; both sets of grandparents, William and Mary Schriver and Bert & Ann Howland.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 20, 2008, at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston.
