Frances Burns

Frances Burns, 87, of Lyndon Station, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells. Frances was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Murphy) McMannamon. She worked many years as a secretary for Douglas Aircraft and Bell Telephone.

Francis is survived by her nephews, Michael, James and Dennis Latuszek and their families; niece, Sister Carol Meyers; and her very good friend, Jeri Ripp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Eilleen Latuszek and Virginia Meyers.

The Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father G. Valentine Joseph celebrating.

Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Ill. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
