Wallace W. Gibson

Wallace W. Gibson, 55, of Mauston, died on Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in his home in Mauston. He was born on Feb. 20, 1953, in Waukegan, Ill. the son of Harold W. and Elaine (Hurley) Gibson.

Wally was a giving person, always there to help. He had a big heart and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his son, Jesse W. Gibson of Elroy; wife, Roxann Gibson of Pleasant Prairie; grandchildren, Nyccole Gibson of Superior, Skyler Gibson of Camp Douglas and Jessie James Gibson of Camp Douglas, Trenton Adams of Camp Douglas; sister, Sally (Robert) Pangborn of Wonewoc, brothers, Frank (Muriel) Morris of Waukegan, Ill. and Bill Gibson of Antioch, Ill.; mother to Jesse, Valerie Ott-Gibson-Schauer of Elroy; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, Wonewoc, with Pastor Aaron Shirek officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m.
