Between 6:15 a.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, police reported 79 calls.

1000 block of West Conant Street: Police at 1:02 a.m. March 12 investigated a report of a man who kicked in a door to a home and was not welcome by the residents. Joseph A. Palumbo, 28, of Portage, was arrested on charges of criminal trespass to a dwelling, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct.

400 block of West Pleasant Street: At 9:03 a.m. Friday, police took a report of a man making contact with two people against a court order. Amos Cartwright, 37, of Portage, was arrested on charges of felony bail jumping.

700 block of East Edgewater Street: Police at 11 a.m. Friday took a report of a woman waving a handgun around, yelling, and threatening to shoot a dog. Police said Tanya Klingbiel, 38, of Portage, is a convicted felon and not to possess any guns; she was arrested on tentative charges of felon in possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment. Jason Klingbiel, 38, of Portage, admitted to purchasing the gun for her, police said; he was tentatively charged with procuring a firearm for a felon.

Highway 16 and Murphy Road: At 4:01 p.m. Friday, police stopped a vehicle with a cracked windshield. The driver, Kyle Ross, 24, of Pardeeville, was cited with operating after revocation as a third offense, for not carrying required insurance and for displaying unauthorized plates. Passenger Jay Brussveen, 27, of Pardeeville, was cited with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pauquette Street: Police at 12:11 p.m. Saturday responded to a report of a man sleeping in a vehicle for hours. Cameron J. Strese, 20, of Portage, was cited with underage drinking as a first offense.

2100 block of New Pinery Road: At 4:12 p.m. Saturday, police stopped a vehicle with a registered owner with a suspended license. Police said Brittany L. Krueger, 19, of Pardeeville, was cited with operating after suspension as a third offense.

500 block of DeWitt Street: Police at 5:39 p.m. Saturday took a report of vandalism to a vehicle, which had several dents in the hood and broken glass on the ground. Police said the damage was caused by a beer bottle.

Jim’s BP, 2211 W. Wisconsin St.: At 5:16 p.m. Sunday, police took a report of the theft of $15 in gasoline.

Zimmerman Plumbing, 303 E. Albert St.: Police at 7:57 a.m. Monday took a report of the theft of a utility trailer and a spare tire from a trailer.

East Pleasant and Jefferson Street: At 6:46 p.m. Monday, police stopped a vehicle after hearing the engine rev loudly and seeing it speed down an alley. Driver Nicholas Smith, 19 of Portage, said he was trying to show off, police said. He was cited with excessive display of power.

1000 block of Adams Street: Police at 9:24 p.m. Monday took a report of the theft of a television and coins from a home.

200 block of Washington Street: At 1:03 a.m. Tuesday, police took a report of an intoxicated man who pulled out a knife. Derik J. Walter, 25, of Lodi, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of heroin.
