TOWN OF COURTLAND - A town of Courtland home was damaged in a fire reported early Saturday morning.

According to Randolph Fire Chief Bruce Miller, a resident of a home at W1164 Highway G in the town of Courtland reported the fire at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday.

Miller said the fire was primarily in the roof and an upstairs bedroom in the area of a chimney of a main floor fireplace. There was extensive damage to the roof and the bedroom, along with smoke damage upstairs and some water damage to the living room on the main floor.

No one was injured in the fire. The residents are able to stay in the home.

Fire departments from Cambria, Fall River, Fox Lake and Friesland assisted.

Firefighters were on the scene for approximately three hours.
