BROWNSVILLE — Harriet M. Haass, 73, of Brownsville, Wis., passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, at noon at Mayville United Methodist Church, Mayville, with the Rev. Renae Dymond officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at the church in Mayville. Following the service, everyone is invited to celebrate Harriet’s life at a brat and burger fry.
Harriet was born the daughter of Jerome & Margaret (Voelker) Schuster on July 16, 1939, in Germantown, Wis.
Harriet loved her two children and daughter-in-law and always had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Her dear friends also meant a lot to her. Harriet farmed quite a few years in the town of LeRoy. She was an active member of Mayville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her pets, cooking, baking, flowers, painting and ceramics.
Harriet is survived by her children, Randal (Jane) Haass and Robin Ise; her brother, Paul (Janet) Schuster; her grandchildren, Amy Haass (fiancé Shawn Uecker), Andrew Haass, and Matthew Haass; Roland Haass; and her dog Huntzel. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son-in-law, Bill Ise.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mayville United Methodist Church would be appreciated.
