POYNETTE/PORTAGE -- Lloyd LeRoy Chadwick, 64, passed from this life on Oct. 17, 2013.

Lloyd was born Feb. 26, 1949, to Roy and Phyllis Stebbins Chadwick. He was a graduate of Dekorra Grade School and Poynette High School (1967).

Lloyd farmed for a few years with his parents on their farm in Dekorra. He worked as a body mechanic for Leahy Motors, Mike Raught Motors of Portage; Bob Schriver, Rio; and Johnson Sales, Leeds. Lloyd retired as a truck driver for American Family Insurance, Madison, and was a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard for 25 years. Lloyd loved Ford tractors and attending Antique tractor shows. Lloyd was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Arlington.

Lloyd is survived by his wife of 20 years, Linda Hollfelder Chadwick of Poynette; daughter, Marita (Shane) Fleming, Iowa and their children; son, Richard M. Lehnherr (Kelly), Ripon, and their children; stepson, Kerry Enger, Madison; stepson, Lance (Erin) Enger, Deerfield, and their children; brother and friend, Lowell (Ruth) Chadwick, Poynette; niece, Angela Chadwick, Maryland; nephew, Clinton (Dawn) Chadwick and their children of Poynette; Linda's brothers and sisters: Thomas A. Hollfelder, James Hollfelder, Luanne M. Raynoha, Lori H. Brehm, and Lois A. Petri. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jonathan D. Chadwick Lehnherr.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Jacob Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Dekorra Cemetery, with military honors provided by Poynette area veterans. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank Lloyd's caregivers: Kerry, Lowell, Clint, and Marita ... and those who brought in food. Thanks to Home Health and Hospice and St. Clare's of Baraboo.
