Blanche Schneiter, 94, of Wisconsin Dells, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Clare Meadows in Baraboo.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells with the Rev. Steven Keller officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, April 29, from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m.

Blanche was born Aug. 7, 1918 in Hustisford, the daughter of Kurt and Blanche Randall Rex and grew up in Hustisford. In March 1937 she married Rudolph Schneiter in Reeseville, and he preceded her in death in 1993. Blanche was an active person at church where she enjoyed Bible study and she served as an elder and as a deacon.

Blanche is survived by sons, Rudolph (Hilde) Schneiter of Las Vegas, Nev., Donald Schneiter of Colin, Mich. and James Schneiter of Three Rivers, Mich.; daughters, Carol (Keith) Spiegelhoff of Peoria, Ariz., Susan (George) Crossley of Wisconsin Dells and Sharon (Peter) Reynolds of Bedford, Texas; a sister, May Holtz of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael Craig Schneiter and daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Marianne.

The Picha Funeral Home of Wisconsin Dells assisted the family with arrangements.
