MAUSTON — Robert “Bob” James Kastner, 48, of Mauston passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

Bob was born Nov. 14, 1964. He graduated from Mauston High School in 1983. On Sept. 28, 1984, he married the former Teresa Duffy. Bob was a reliable, hardworking man and a dedicated and caring son, husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid mechanic and spent most of his summers working on his cars for the local demolition derby. Bob loved animals, especially his dog Hazie, riding his ATVs and cooking. The time closest to his heart was spent with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Teresa, and three children, Brenda Thorne (Chris), Brian Kastner (Patty) and Brad Kastner (Tia); six grandchildren, Madisen, Mason, Mallory, Brian, Miah, and Trinity; his parents, Philip and Joan Kastner; his brothers and sisters Skip Kastner (Lynne), Sherrie Palm (Don), Mark Kastner (Shari) and Jason Kastner and nieces and nephews; his father- and mother in-law, Robert and Bonnie Duffy; his brothers- and sisters in-law Laurie and Jim Blaschke, John and Kelley Duffy, Karen and Sam Rollins and nieces and nephews, Roy and Aloha Bishop, and Marion Mineau.

A celebration of life will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. Sunday, at Bible Baptist Church, 148 Grayside Ave. Mauston. The Rev. Peter Bergeson will be officiating.
