Raymond E. Adam, 73, of Beaver Dam passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Clearview Nursing Home in Juneau.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 19, at 10 a.m. at Randolph Cemetery with the Rev. Sonja Parr officiating.
Raymond Edward was born on Oct. 8, 1939, the son of Melvin “Mupe” E. and Eunice (Bradley) Adam in Randolph, Wis. He was a 1958 graduate of Randolph High School. On Nov. 11, 1961, he was married to Sally Edgerton.
He had been employed at Kirsch Foundry in Beaver Dam. Ray also really enjoyed farming, which he did for many years. He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Ray enjoyed playing cards with his sons.
Ray is survived by his three sons, Ronald Adam of Beaver Dam, Edward (Jody) Adam of Milton and Jon (Kim) Adam of Duncan, S.C.; five grandchildren, Saraina and Chet Adam, Dana (James) Byrd, Karis and Quinn Adam; great granddaughter Finleigh Byrd; his former wife Sally Adam; also survived by his sister-in-law Irene Adam of Augusta, Wis.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Russell Edward Adam.
