William Joseph Wolf Jr., 83, of Pardeeville, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison following a brief illness.
He was born April 27, 1934, in Addison, Wisconsin, the son of William Joseph Sr. and Rossella (Lackas) Wolf.
Bill married the love of his life, Patricia Gray Heath, on Sept. 9, 1973. He served a term as a Portage alderman. Bill worked as a foreman for the Wyenberg Shoe Co. for many years, until given the opportunity to be a foreman in a shoe factory within a California prison, where he remained employed until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and bowler and he loved nothing more than hooking up his fifth wheel to camp cross country.
Bill is survived by four children from a previous marriage, Brian (Tammy) Wolf, William Wolf III, Tammy Wolfe and Todd Wolf; stepchildren, Harold (Peggy) Heath, Diana (Robert) Kiefer, Randy (Mary) Heath; and son-in-law, Chris Livesay; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Holly; stepdaughter, Amber; brothers, Roland and Fred; and sisters, Dorothy and Rosie.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at Grasse Funeral Home, 119 Industrial Drive, Pardeeville, with the Rev. Mark Brandel presiding. Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
