James (Jim) Theusch
James (Jim) Theusch, 70, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 2, 2015, at the VA Hospital in Madison.
Jim was born in Mauston, Wisconsin on December 23, 1944, the son of Elenore (Grabowski) and Leonard Theusch.
Jim served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. He was a dedicated life member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 462 and proud of his country. Jim had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the country. Jim was fortunate to take a dream trip to South Dakota in the last few weeks of his life with his wife Linda.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Fargen; his children, Robert Theusch, Joanne (Adam) Verburgt; his sister, Jeanne Whitfield; and three grandchildren, Myra, Kagen and Malaina. He will be missed by his relatives and friends.
A mass of Christian burial for James Leonard Theusch will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father David Carrano officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Calvary cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family or to the Vietnam Veterans of America in his memory.
