Dear friends of Santa’s Workshop:

Santa’s Workshop is soliciting your cash donation and volunteer help this year. We would like to continue this Christmas program for disadvantaged children that would not otherwise have a nice Christmas. We helped 186 children from 65 families last year. With your help, hopefully these children will have a happy Christmas.

The money donated will purchase toys, games, books, socks, school supplies, hats and mittens. All the money collected goes toward purchasing items for the children. We do purchase wrapping paper and pay for the post office box at the post office with the money. We do accept items that can be given to the children.

We also accept toys and gifts for the children. These can be dropped off at the Portage Fire Station after Nov. 19.

We would appreciate your donation prior to Dec. 1. Checks should be made payable to Santa’s Workshop and deposited into either Associated Bank or Harris Bank. There is an account set up in each of these banks. A check also could be sent to P.O. Box 813, Portage, WI 53901.

Thank you very much for your contribution to Santa’s Workshop. If you have any questions at all concerning Santa’s Workshop, please feel free to call me at 742-4224. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this program. Any suggestions you may have to make this program serve the community better, please let me know.

Jean Anderson, coordinator of Santa’s Workshop, Portage
