It is time for the GOP to pay back the billionaire donors.
Over the last election cycle, the $80 billion Koch brothers have spent well over $100 million on nationwide GOP campaigns. The GOP controls the House, the Senate and the presidency. Congressman Paul Ryan and Sen. Mitch McConnell are ready to deliver for billionaire Donald Trump no matter what the cost to the national debt.
The economy is doing very well with record corporate profits. That is not enough for corporate billionaires. They want more. Billionaires do not want their estates taxed when they die.
There is one downside to the giveaway. Our national debt is now past $22 trillion and middle-class wages have not enjoyed increased wages since the Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush trickle-down tax programs. The Trump trickle-down tax program promises the same while adding another $1.5 trillion to the national debt. Trickle-down III locks in massive tax breaks to the top 10 percent while giving the middle class a kiss and a promise. The billionaire con man will not show his taxes and how the tax giveaway helps him.
