As People Helping People closes out another year of serving Baraboo and surrounding communities, we’d like to thank all our friends for their generosity in 2017. You have helped PHP distribute 400 boxes of groceries to low-income families during the holidays, donate more than 4,000 pounds of food to neighboring food pantries and assist 212 families in distress with food, school supplies and children’s clothing. Our Work Ready program has helped eight young men get jobs and improve their lives.
We’d specifically like to thank the following businesses for sponsoring our fifth annual Stomp Out Hunger event on Dec. 2: Baraboo Country Club, Baraboo Motors Group, Community First Bank, Dean Blum Excavating, Del Tool, Festival Foods, The Grainery, Hill’s Wiring, Jams 2 Get-N-Go Thrifty Mart, Jose’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant, Log Cabin Family Restaurant, Maurer’s Market, 99.7 Max FM Radio, MBE CPAs, McGann Furniture Inc., Minuteman Press, Mobil Get-N-Go, Senger Lumber Inc., Summit Credit Union, Terrytown Plumbing, Walmart and WCCU Credit Union.
Thank you all for helping to strengthen our community.
Ellen Bueno, People Helping People secretary, Baraboo
