We, the staff and board of directors at River Haven, would like to thank all those who contributed to yet another successful year serving the homeless and less fortunate in our county.

We are grateful for the continued support of our community, especially the gregarious financial contributions received from area churches, businesses, groups and individuals like you. The Portage chapter of the Knights of Columbus has been especially generous with its time and resources in support of the shelter, as well as the community at large in its support of River Haven’s various fundraisers this past year.

Thank you to all who have kept River Haven in their prayers. Without the combined effort of all, we could not continue operating. We were able to provide housing for 115 people this year and we were able to replace windows in the shelter, most of which were original to the structure. Our next goal, God willing and with your support, is to replace the roof.

Again, a sincere thank you and may you all be richly blessed this Christmas season.

Cindy LeGrand, Executive Director of River Haven
