Simonson-Canales engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Simonson of Portage, along with Fran Smith of Portage and Michael Smith, also of Portage, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Kay Simonson, to Phillip Riley Canales, son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Canales of Portage.

Jennifer is a 2005 graduate of Portage High School and is employed at the UW Dairy Forage Research Center in Sauk City.

Phillip is a 2001 graduate of Portage High School and a 2003 graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is employed at Zimmerman Plumbing in Portage.

The couple will be married this month at Pine Ridge in Wautoma.
