300 block of East Pleasant Street: At 3:20 p.m. Thursday, police took a report of an injured squirrel. The squirrel was put into a box and taken to the Columbia County Humane Society for rehabilitation.
Divine Savior Healthcare, 2817 New Pinery Road: Police responded at 4:46 p.m. Thursday to a report of a woman bitten by an injured squirrel she was attempting to take to a veterinarian. The squirrel was different from the one helped in the earlier report.
