Mildred B. Neef Baillies
PARDEEVILLE — Mildred B. Neef Baillies, 95, of Pardeeville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Divine Savior Hospital.
Mildred was born Feb. 20, 1913, in Scott Township, the daughter of Henry and Effie Judd Neef. On June 12, 1933, she was united in marriage to Harold Baillies, in Scott Township at the Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death.
Mildred was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville and Ladies Aide. She was a past member of Royal Neighbors.
Mildred enjoyed playing cards, cooking, canning and baking. She was a loving, caring and thoughtful woman. She gave to others unselfishly. A devoted mother and grandmother, Mildred enjoyed the company of her dear family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jo Ellen Spear of Pardeeville and Sharon (Richard) Gibney of Pardeeville; grandchildren, Dennis Spear of Madison, Guy (Jennifer) Gibney of Los Gatos, Calif., and Dan (Lisbeth) Gibney of Mount Horeb; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Danielle Gibney; nieces, nephews, other near relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Gilman Neef; and sister, Violet Kilgore.
A celebration of her life will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Pardeeville at 11 a.m. Saturday. Pastor Norman Bude will officiate.
Inurnment will be at the Pardeeville Cemetery at 1 p.m.
Visitation for Mildred will be held Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mildred's name.
Smith Funeral Home in Pardeeville is serving the family.
