MAILBAG: Rio schools should stand up to foundation

I am writing this to encourage the families and faculty of the Rio School District: Don't be intimidated by the "Freedom From Religion Foundation."

They are a collaboration of immoral, unhappy people (pray for them) with nothing better to do than waste the courts' time with frivolous nonsense based on their own twisted interpretation of the Constitution. The plain truth is they will not be happy until they've made everyone else more miserable than they themselves are ... what better way to make people unhappy than to take God Almighty out of their lives?

Separation of church and state strictly interpreted means no specific religion should become that of the United States (such as England and Anglicanism). Our forefathers based all laws on just moral principals which come from ... ? You guessed it. God. Read the preamble ... it's all there.

In fact, when no church in Philadelphia was large enough to hold everyone, government buildings, the very buildings where these documents were forged, were lent out for church services ... and yes, they promoted and attended them.

To push idealistic views such as those of "freedom from religion" is lunacy. Any "lawyer" who defends them should be disbarred; any activist judge who rules in their favor should be thrown off the bench. If it goes against God it can't be justice as he is the author of justice. Stand firm, Rio. He's on your side.
