BASEBALL: Banks tosses no-hitter for Pardeeville

Pardeeville's Pat Banks was on his game, tossing a five-inning no-hitter as the Bulldogs rolled to an 11-1 victory over Princeton at Chandler Park in Pardeeville on Wednesday afternoon.

The lone-run for the Tigers was unearned and came across in the fourth inning. Banks finished with two strikeouts and just two walks.

"He was in complete control of the game," said Pardeeville head coach Bill Hebl of Banks. "There was good defense by our team. We made some plays. He was ahead of the batters most of the day."

Pardeeville jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and then put the game away with three runs in fourth followed by four runs in the fifth, which ended the game via the 10-run rule.

Pardeeville moves to 9-3 overall with the win and will play host to Hustisford-Dodgeland in a big game at Chandler Park today at 5 p.m. The Bulldogs currently sit in fourth place at 5-2 in the Southern Trailways Conference, while Hustisford-Dodgeland is tied for second at 7-2.
