Between 7:25 a.m. Friday and 7:33 a.m. Monday, police responded to 95 calls.
West Carroll Street: Police on Friday at 7:52 a.m. stopped Aaron Lavake, 36, of Westfield, who was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension of a license as a ninth offense and driving without proof of insurance. The vehicle was towed.
East Cook Street and Main Street: Police on Saturday at 1:56 a.m. found Jonathan Walters, 26, of Portage, reportedly sleeping in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle. Following a field sobriety test, Walters was arrested and cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as a first offense, registering a .202 blood-alcohol level on a preliminary breath test.
Highway 16 and LaDawn Drive: Police on Sunday at 12:28 a.m. stopped Jennifer Sweet, 41, of Oxford, for speeding and weaving within the lane. Sweet was arrested and cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated as a first offense.
Klemp Street: Police on Sunday at 4:04 a.m. responded to a domestic disturbance where a 25-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, each from Cicero, Illinois, were arrested and cited for domestic disorderly conduct.
West Wisconsin Street: Police on Sunday at 7:16 a.m. stopped Cheri Smith, 52, of Poynette, who was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension of a license as a second offense and driving without insurance.
KFC on New Pinery Road: Police on Sunday at 2:37 p.m. responded to a reported vehicle accident where Christopher Vnuk, 54, of Oxford, reportedly told officers he thought the vehicle was making a right turn toward Walmart when he began to pass on the left, at which time the vehicle in front of him began turning left into the KFC parking lot. Vnuk was cited for passing in a double-yellow lane.
DeWitt Street: Police on Monday at 2:05 a.m. cited Lane Douglas, 21, of Saukville, for public urination in front of a downtown bar.
West Carroll Street: Police on Monday at 6:36 a.m. stopped Megan A. Schmidt, 29, of Montello, who was cited for operating a vehicle after revocation of a license as an eighth offense and driving without insurance.
