Between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to 37 calls, including eight that resulted in habitual truancy tickets to high school students.

400 block of East Pleasant Street: At 12:19 p.m. Friday, police took a report of entry sometime overnight into an unlocked vehicle; nothing was reported missing.

Highway 33 at West Cook Street: Police at 2:27 a.m. Saturday stopped a vehicle without taillights. The driver, Adam W. Tierney, 25, of rural Portage, tentatively was charged with drunken driving after he registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.12 on a preliminary Breathalyzer test, police said. It is illegal to drive in Wisconsin with a concentration of 0.08 or more for drivers with no drunken driving convictions.

300 block of West Cook Street: At 8:34 p.m. Saturday, police took a report of an entry and burglary of a residence and office. A small amount of cash and a key were taken; the key later was recovered in a different place, police said.

Intersection of Howard and Lock streets: At 12:20 a.m. Sunday, police stopped a vehicle in which the engine was excessively revved and for speeding. The driver, Eric S. Steinmetz, 27, of Poynette, tentatively was charged with drunken driving after he registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.137 on a preliminary Breathalyzer test, police said.

2800 block of New Pinery Road: Police at 7:54 a.m. Sunday responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in snow with the driver slumped behind the wheel. Jennifer M. Skinner, 25, of Portage, registered a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.108 on a preliminary Breathalyzer test, police said.

2300 block of Schultz Street: At 7:21 p.m. Sunday, police took a report of a burglary and vandalism in an apartment. Three game consoles and a laptop computer, together worth $3,149, were taken and the screen of a $1,200 television was broken, police said.

2900 block of New Pinery Road: Police at 9:01 p.m. Sunday investigated a tip of drug activity at Taco Bell. Daniel L. Stowers, 44, of Wisconsin Dells, was tentatively charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a narcotic after police discovered a glass pipe and a bag with a powdery hallucinogenic substance thought to be peyote; police are awaiting test results on the substance.

Easton Motors, 102 Henry Drive: Police at 9:28 a.m. Monday took a report of the theft of an outside security camera taken off the back of the building sometime between 8:45 p.m. Jan. 20 and noon Friday.

700 block of Dunn Street: At 1:53 p.m. Monday, police took a report of the theft of a wallet with identification and cash from a truck Saturday night.
