WISCONSIN DELLS - Daniel Morehouse, 47, of Wisconsin Dells, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison.
Dan was born Nov. 23, 1962, in Wausau, the son of James and Norma Stanford Morehouse. Many people knew Dan, because he owned and operated his own window cleaning business in the area. He was well-known for the love he had for his dog "Baby" and his cooking. He enjoyed music and playing guitar.
Dan is survived by his mother, Norma (Charles Marshall) Morehouse of Wisconsin Dells; son, Samuel (Samantha Hill) of North Freedom; daughter, Anna Morehouse of Baraboo; brother, Thomas (Neva Jo Slone) Morehouse of Wisconsin Dells; sisters, Kathleen (James) Fry of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Laurie (Howard) Blegen of Churchs Ferry, N.D., Beth (Raleigh) Swanson of Fargo, N.D., Dianne (Lowell) Ziech of Reedsburg, and Molly (Glen) LaRavia of North Freedom; and the mother of his two children, Katy Morehouse of Baraboo. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Picha Funeral Home in Lake Delton, with John Torgerson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Picha Funeral Home and Crematory of Lake Delton assisted the family with arrangements.
