Norma I. (nee Lueck) Bernander, of Greendale, went to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband of 66 years, Donald, on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at the age of 93.
Loving mom of Jean (Gerry) Zylka, Diane (Jay) Lammert and Terry (Debbie). Proud grandma of Kevin (Coleen), Julie (George), Joy (Jamie), Jill (Scott), Jennifer (Tom), Cheryl and T.J. (Mary). Sister of Marion Roesler. Further survived by 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.
Visitation from 4 to 6:45 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m., Monday, March 5, at Oak Creek Assembly of God, 7311 S. 13th St. (please enter using Door 3). Private interment at Spencer Lake Memorial Park Cemetery in Waupaca.
Norma grew up on the family farm near Portage, and graduated from Portage High School. Throughout her life Norma was very active in her church as a longtime Sunday School teacher, organist, pianist and choir member. She was famous for her cooking, baking, generosity and hospitality.
