Dec. 2 – Full Moon Hike at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Go on a two-mile guided walk or snowshoe through the park’s wooded trails. Dec. 3 – Roxbury Valley Trap Club’s Winter League begins. League runs for eight weeks. Shooting begins at 9 a.m. Breakfast available from 8 to 10:30 a.m. The club is located on County Y between Highway 12 and Roxbury. For information call 608-643-4733 on Sundays.

Dec. 9-10 – Christmas at Marsh Haven & Holiday Nature Craft Show, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Marsh Haven Nature Center in Waupun. Dec. 30 – Winter Star Party at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Check out the stars with one of the telescopes that will be set up. Warm up and roast marshmallows at the camp fire. The program will happen just behind the Rock Elm Shelter near the North Shore Boat Launch. Jan. 20 – Lake Mason Lions Club Fisheree, from daybreak to 3 p.m. at the Wagon Wheel Boat Landing on Highway 23 on Lake Mason. Fish prizes of $25 for each limited species of fish caught. Tickets are $5 and are available at Briggsville businesses and at the shoreline on the day of the event.
