Larry E. Kehl, 74, of La Valle, went home to his eternal resting place and to be with his loving wife Ellyn Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.
He was born Aug. 9, 1943. After graduating from Oconomowoc High School class of 1961, he served in the United States Army National Guard. Larry’s favorite thing in life was being a grandfather. He loved being with his grandkids and watching them play sports. While living the majority of his life in Oconomowoc, he also enjoyed living part of his retirement at his lake home on Dutch Hollow Lake near Reedsburg. During the winter months, he enjoyed driving his RV to Texas. He loved cooking meals for his family and traveling.
He is survived by his sons, Dean (Marty), Dan and Darrin (Beth); grandchildren, Grace, Nathan, and Noah; sister, Carol Koepp (Tom Carter); and brothers and sisters-in-law, the Martins; cousins; other relatives; and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ellyn; and parents, Edgar and Dorothy.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, at St. Peter’s of Lebanon, Highway MM, Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.
