Only 10 days left for Helping Hands

REEDSBURG — There are only 10 more days to buy the gifts for the needy children in our area.

Please make time this week to pick up a mitten or mittens from a mitten tree, buy the designated gifts and put the gift with the mitten inside a plastic bag, or tape the mitten to the gift. Then, place the mitten and the gift in a box clearly marked Reedsburg Area Helping Hands. The box will be near the mitten tree.

Mitten trees and boxes are clearly marked with the red and white logo of RAHH and are found in many local churches and businesses.

All those who sponsor mitten trees and jars are greatly appreciated for their contribution to the Mitten Tree Program's success. Without their help, this gift to children of need would be impossible.

All gifts must be collected by Dec. 14. Please remember the many children who are affected this year by lack of housing, jobs, illness or the loss of a parent, and reach out to help those of need in our community.

No gift is too small. No gift is too large. Every gift helps others, and all gifts and donations go directly to the gifting of children with a Merry Christmas and food for a Christmas dinner.
