School will close instead of referendum

REEDSBURG — Like a broken record playing out all over the State of Wisconsin, school boards are finalizing their 2009-2010 budgets and looking ahead to 2010-2011 with anxiety. In Reedsburg, the school board made it clear Thursday they are not ready to fill budget gaps with a referendum and will likely close one or two single track elementary schools next year.
