REEDSBURG — The Reedsburg Finance Committee got back to the basics Monday night, granting Webb Fund money to the things it was originally set up to improve — city parks and recreation.
All of the $49,000 left in the Webb Fund at year's end will go toward the construction of eight new tennis courts at Reedsburg Area High School near the District Office on Hwy. 23. Additionally, the finance committee agreed to give the Parks and Recreation Department $31,000 out of the Webb Fund again in 2010 — a total of $80,000 — for the $105,000 project expected to start in spring.
Library Sign
Sue Ann Kucher's $11,717 proposal to help put up a $15,623 LED video board for the Reedsburg Public Library was denied.
Hockey Scoreboard
Dan Lehman and Reedsburg Youth Hockey won't receive the $3,900 they requested for a second scoreboard at the RACA, estimated at $4,808.
