Veterans Memorial breaks ground

REEDSBURG — Members of VFW Post 1916 and the Auxiliary took part in a ceremonial groundbreaking of the Veterans Memorial on the south end of Nishan Park Monday. The fine work and thousands of dollars these men and women have raised has led to the start of phase one — pouring the concrete foundation. Phase two is expected to commence in 2010.
