Hunters Night and Veterans Day

REEDSBURG — The 26th Annual Hunters Night Out Banquet will be held Nov. 7 at the Lions Jaycees Building.

The event is being brought to you courtesy of the Reedsburg Jaycees, Reedsburg Knights of Columbus, Reedsburg Lions and Reedsburg Outdoor Club.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling Ron at 524-3003, evenings.

High school hosting Veterans Day ceremony

VFW Post 1916 would like to announce that Veterans Day services will be at Reedsburg Area High School Nov. 11 at 10:30 a.m.

The guest speaker will be John A. Scocos, Secretary of Wis. Department of Veteran's Affairs.

Scocos is a veteran with 30 years of active and reserve military service with the U.S. Army. He has just completed his second deployment in Iraq. His awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Action Badge and Meritorious Service Metal. Scocos is married to Dr. Kelly Williams and has three children.
