REEDSBURG — The Reedsburg Utility is on to their last resort — Plan C. Dave Mikonowicz, utility superintendent, said in late September that changing the location of a proposed well site on the west side was the absolute last thing they wanted to do. Now they'll have to due to high levels of manganese found in the water at the first test well adjacent to the new Sauk County Health Care Center.

"We dug that test well and it was beautiful. This site was just perfect," Mikonowicz said. "But now we're probably going to have to walk away from that site."
