Miss Reedsburg contestants announced

The contestants for the 2009 Miss Reedsburg Pageant are: front, Deanne Webber and Allana Mittelsteadt; middle, Jaime Conlin, Elle Douglas, Leah Pingel and Shannon Knull; back, Stephanie Deakin, Rachel Hasler, Sara Durst and Megan Brey.

REEDSBURG — Ten young ladies will vie for the title of Miss Reedsburg 2009 during the annual pageant to be held this year on Tuesday, June 16 at 8 p.m. in the Bavarian Ballroom at the Voyageur Inn.

Admission to the pageant is $4 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets will be sold at the door.

John Deitrich of Reedsburg will serve as Master of Ceremonies for this year's pageant. Jessica Horkan, Miss Reedsburg 2008, will be on hand to assist this year's contestants prior to the pageant. Horkan will also take part in the program.

The 10 young ladies hoping to be crowned Miss Reedsburg 2009 are: Megan Brey, daughter of Frank and Judy Brey; Jaime Conlin, daughter of Wayne and Candace Conlin; Stephanie Deakin, daughter of Tim and Debbie Deakin; Elle Douglas, daughter of Craig and Donna Douglas; Sara Durst, daughter of Michelle Gardner; Rachel Hasler, daughter of Phil and Jan Hasler; Shannon Knull, daughter of David and Rebecca Knull; Allana Mittlesteadt, daughter of Heather Churchill and Shawn Mittlesteadt; Leah Pingel, daughter of Kelley and Lane Buelow; and Deanne Webber, daughter of Duane and Darla Webber.
