Karl R. Sonny Gneiser Jr., 62, Published February 6, 2010
Karl R. “Sonny” Gneiser Jr., 62 of Reedsburg, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at his home. He was born on April 8, 1947, at Van Dyne, the son of Karl and Myrtle (Naylor) Gneiser Sr. Karl was a 1966 graduate of Wisconsin Dells High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Navy. Karl worked for L.F. Painting until his retirement. He also tended bar at Les’ Bar and Grill for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting lighthouses. Karl was a loving, caring brother who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents.
He was survived by his sister, Sharon Gneiser Douglas Hunter of Mount Horeb; his nephew, Chad Douglas of Reedsburg; his niece, Brandee Douglas of Reedsburg and his two great nieces, Paige and Kailee Dyke.
