Betty J. Good, 76, Published Oct. 8, 2008

Betty J. Good of Baraboo passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at St. Clare Hospital at the age of 76.

Betty was born on July 12, 1932 to Wesley and Alma (Rathman) Babcock in Baraboo. She married Cale Good on Jan. 4, 1949 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Baraboo. She was a loving and caring mother and friend to many and touched the lives of all who knew her. Betty was a member St. John's Lutheran Church.

Betty is survived by five children, Dianne (Jim) Long, Baraboo Nancy Lou (Steve) Hamilton, Baraboo, Cale (Shirley) Good, Baraboo, Debra Jean (Brian Vertein) Buelow, Reedsburg, Faith Ann (Randy) Schumacher, Baraboo; seven grandchildren; Peter Good, Jamie Mason, Jeffery Denman, Tylor Good, Nicholas and Dalton Schumacher and Hanna Buelow; 11 great-grandchildren, Andrew, Angelica, Cassandra and Jerake Denman, Miranda, Justin and Kaitlyn Good, Andrea Holloway, Mason Handle, and Brittany and Keifer Blackdeer; a great-great-grandchild, Alexus Gerish; her mother, Alma Reimer and two sisters Bonnie Schell and Linda Laufenberg.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, her husband Cale, one sister Laurie Arnce and two infant great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Fricke officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank Dr. Hamburg for his wonderful care during this difficult time and also thank the staff at St. Clare Hospital and Meadows and the Maplewood Nursing Home.
