Robert James Hudzinski, 68 of Reedsburg, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at his home.
Robert, the son of the late Anthony P. and Juliann C. (Peasall) Hudzinski, was born on Feb. 23, 1941, in Reedsburg. Bob was proud to have served with the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (Pickett) Hudzinski; four children, Brenda Hudzinski (Steve Alt), Cindy (Don) Stanford, Bobbie (Todd) Volkey and Pam Hudzinski (Mike Zamora); three step-children, Kay (Dale) Butler, Sig (Leonard) Mason and Crystal (Louie) Wells; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Rosemarie Lenney of Reedsburg, Joe (Jan) Hudzinski of Madison, Delores (Stan) Premo of Rockford, Ill., Al Hudzinski of Green Lake, Dotty (Marvin) Manweiler of Oak Lawn, Ill., Ray (Nell) Hudzinski of Princeton and Dale (Deb) Hudzinski of Wisconsin Dells; other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Redlin Funeral Home, 401 Madison Ave. in Baraboo. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Ron Pickar officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery where military rites will be provided.
