Nichole Marie Cook, 29 of Reedsburg, died suddenly on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, in her home. She was born on May 13, 1980, in Reedsburg, the daughter of James and Nancie (Bokota) Cook. She was proud of being a Special Olympian who went to state several times. Her favorite sport was Bocce Ball. She loved to sing, color and enjoyed Christmas. Nichole watched sports, especially those her sisters played and coached, and was their biggest spectator fan. She was the best secret keeper. She never forgot a face or name even after only meeting a person one time. Being around her made people feel great and would bring the best out in them. Her favorite color was purple and really enjoyed American Idol music. She was preceded in death by an uncle, Richard.

She is survived by her parents, James and Nancie Cook of Reedsburg; her sisters, Jessica Cook of Reedsburg and Stephanie Cook of Wisconsin Dells; her companion dog, Sadie; paternal grandparents, Norman and Vera Cook of Plover; maternal grandparents, Michael and Nancy Bokota of Wisconsin Dells; aunts and uncles, Norma and Chuck Gray, Charles Cook, Brice and Brenda Nelson, Debra and Phil Hansen, Michael and Mary Bokota, Joseph and Renee Bokota and Susan and David Cochran; many cousins and friends.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at 4 p.m. in the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, with Brice Nelson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Farber Funeral Home. The family requests memorials of remembrance for a scholarship fund for special education in lieu of flowers.
