Reedsburg Polars 'Bring a Friend' night is Aug. 24

REEDSBURG—The Reedsburg Polars hockey organization squirt team which takes in skaters from Reedsburg and Mauston area is holding a "Bring a Friend Night" during their summer program night, Aug. 24 at the Poppy Waterman Ice Arena in Lake Delton.

While current skaters are encouraged to send invitations to their friends, any local boys aged 11-12 are encouraged to attend the event that will be followed by a picnic/cookout in the Captain Bob's Park picnic area.

There is no charge for admission to "Bring a Friend Night."

Players with any or no experience are more than welcome to attend. If possible, bring skates and a hockey or cycling helmet. A limited supply of equipment will be available for those that don't have what they need.

During the fall to spring season, the Polars, a feeder program for the high school varsity and junior varsity team, runs, out of the RACA in Reedsburg, practicing locally and playing games both at the Reedsburg facility as well as a limited road schedule.
