Hampton Roads Whalers General Manager and Junior "B" Head Coach Tom Winkler is proud to announce that Charles and Jon Vaillancourt have committed to play for Coach Chris Heaney and the Framingham State Rams.

"I am excited for the twins and their family. Jon and Charles have been an integral part of this program since its inception." The Hampton Roads Junior Whalers play in the Continental Hockey Association (CHA). The CHA is a United States based junior hockey league that features up-and-coming players, including future college and pro players between the ages of 16 to 20, who play the game with speed, skill and enthusiasm as they work to earn college scholarships and professional hockey contracts.

The Vaillancourts were part of the inaugural, 2006-07 Whalers team that went undefeated and won the CHA league and playoff championship under Head Coach Brent Agrusa. This past season Jon and Charles played a major role in the success of the Whalers Independent team and its 41-19-4 record.
