Scott A. Uttech, 50, of Prairie du Sac, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at University Hospital in Madison.
Scott was born Oct. 9, 1966, to Dick and Shirley (Lehman) Uttech. He graduated from Wisconsin School for the Visually Impaired in Janesville in 1987 and worked for almost 20 years at Ace Sauk Prairie and for V.A.R.C. in Reedsburg. Scott participated in Sauk Prairie Special Olympics for many years and has won many trophies for his bowling talent. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to joke with friends; those that met Scott, never forgot him. Scott loved cats, spending time with friends, family, and his late grandparents. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Prairie du Sac.
Scott is survived by his parents Dick and Shirley Uttech; brother Michael (Teri) Uttech; two nephews, Alec and Mitchell; many uncles, aunts, cousins; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Scott’s family would like to thank the Sauk Prairie Hospital staff, University Hospitals staff, Med Flight, Sauk Prairie E.M.S., and the many healthcare professionals who have helped him over the years.
