Friday, Dec. 8

Concert: 7 p.m., Dec. 8, River Arts on Water, 590 Water St., Prairie du Sac. Holiday concert featuring local performers and holiday tunes. Edwardian Christmas: 7 p.m., Sauk County Historical Society, Van Orden Mansion, 531 Fourth Ave., Baraboo. Guests will be able to experience “Holiday Inn” with each of the 11 trees in the mansion inside inspired by the 1942 movie classic “Holiday Inn.” Adults only party featuring festive appetizers and holiday spirits, $22 for non-members and $20 for members. Tickets are limited; call 608-356-1001 to reserve a spot.

Variety show: 7:30 p.m., River Valley Players, Gard Theater, 111 E. Jefferson St., Spring Green. Will Sing for Food, a holiday variety show will be presented to benefit local food pantries. Cost is $15. Non-perishable food items and donations will also be collected. Tickets are available at Arcadia Book Store in Spring Green, Changes Salon in Plain, and online at brownpapertickets.com.

Saturday, Dec. 9

Craft fair: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sauk Prairie Area Food Pantry, former Sauk Prairie Harley Davidson location, 836 Phillips Blvd., Sauk City. Third annual Holiday Shop with bake sale, specialty foods and about 40 vendors and crafters.

Letterboxing adventure: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Devil’s Lake State Park. Participate in letterboxing which combines elements of hiking and treasure hunting. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by following clues and recording information in a personal journal with a rubber stamp from the box. Bring a journal or one can be provided. Begin at the Nature Center anytime between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For more information, call 608-356-8301.

Tuesday, Dec. 12

Chocolate sale: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friends of Sauk Prairie Healthcare, 260 26th St., Prairie du Sac. Paul’s Chocolates fundraiser. Samples will be available. Twenty percent of sales will be donated. Proceeds will support health care scholarships and resources for our hospital and clinics.
