The Sauk Prairie co-op boys hockey team swept a pair of non-conference games over the weekend.
The Eagles picked up a 4-1 home win over Sparta (6-11-1) on Friday before rolling to a 10-0 win at Viroqua (3-14-2) on Saturday.
Five Eagles scored in the win over Viroqua, as Sauk Prairie scored seven third-period goals to pull away. Dayne Leonard finished with a hat trick, while Riley Jelinek, Dylan Andrews and Neil Droster each scored a pair of goals and Camden Desroches added one goal.
Sauk Prairie scored at least 10 goals in a shutout win for the third time this season. The Eagles also notched a 10-0 win at Milton on Dec. 7 and a 12-0 win at Madison LaFollette/East on Dec. 9.
Sauk Prairie (14-4-1) will close out the regular season with a pair of home games, playing host to Baraboo/Portage (8-14) on Friday and Madison La Follette/East (2-18-1) on Saturday. The Eagles will look to avenge their 3-1 loss at Baraboo/Portage on Jan. 9.
